In implementing quality management system improvements, the System Development Center has the function of ensuring the availability of internal quality assurance system documents according to the Dikti National Standards and the direction of the University Strategic Plan development along with additional standard documents and derivatives as well as the availability of quality targets in all units to support the achievement of university goals.

The Center for System Development is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating activities and budgets for the development of the Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia Quality Assurance System system, as well as controlling and improving the quality management system, by exercising the authority of compiling and using a system development budget; formed the taskforce team needed to help smooth the task of the system development center

In carrying out the improvement of the quality management system, the center of data exploration and empowerment has the function of controlling the implementation of data processing and presentation of quality objectives by conducting a survey of satisfaction services, processing & empowering data so that complete data for university quality target requirements is available.

The Data Exploration and Empowerment Center is responsible for the implementation of all work plans and the use of the central budget for data empowerment effectively and efficiently. The central authority of exploration and data empowerment is proposing the appointment and dismissal of taskforce staff in the field of data empowerment.

In an effort to improve quality and win global competition, universities are required to operate more effectively and efficiently to produce graduates who excel consistently. One way to maintain quality consistency is to implement the Higher Education Quality Assurance System which consists of the SPMI of the Internal Quality Assurance System and the SPME External Quality Assurance System (accreditation).

In the quality assurance system preceded by the application of SPMI. SPMI has a PPEPP cycle Determination of Implementation of Control and Improvement Evaluation. The role of the Center for Internal Monitoring and Evaluation is in the third stage of the PPEPP cycle, which is to conduct audits by auditing procedures to ensure compliance with the implementation of standard achievement activities at Atma Jaya University. In addition, the Monitoring and Evaluation Center also ensures that each Faculty / Study Program / Bureau and Unit complies with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 whose certification has been achieved by Atma Jaya University in 2018.

In carrying out the improvement of the quality management system, the accreditation center has the function of assisting the accreditation activities of institutions / study programs by implementing a well coordinated review process for accreditation report preparation at national and international levels.

The Accreditation Center is responsible for the implementation of work plans and budget use that support all activities related to accreditation effectively and efficiently. The authority of the Accreditation Center proposes the appointment and dismissal of taskforce staff in the field of system development center accreditation
