Reaching Very Good Accreditation, Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Atma Jaya Catholic University Supports Lecturer and Student Research

Jakarta – The Independent Accreditation Institute for Informatics and Computers (LAM INFOKOM) awarded Very Good Accreditation for the Information Systems Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (Unika), on April 14, 2023.

Accreditation status for the Information Systems study program was obtained after the Field Assessment process which was held on March 20-21 2023, at the BSD Campus of Atma Jaya Catholic University offline.

Atma Jaya Catholic University's Information Systems Study Program has excellent courses, namely: Introduction to Digital Innovation, Digital Innovation Design, Information Systems Projects, User Experience Design, and Educational Game Development.

The learning process for the Atma Jaya Catholic University Information Systems study program is also very up to date, which is supported by the latest applications and virtual environments and has methods such as blended learning, gamification, and serious games.

The Information Systems Study Program has a Computer Lab, which is used to support the lecture process and equipped with a Mobile & Game Development Studio to support the Lecturer and Student research process.

Current models such as Intel Gen13 processors and RTX 4000 series graphics cards are computer specifications owned. The Information Systems Study Program also has other facilities such as Oculuc Quest 2 and Tobi Eye Tracking which can be used for research and learning.

The majority of lecturers belonging to the Information Systems Study Program have Doctoral degrees and have conducted a lot of research and international publications related to the field of information systems. One example of an international publication by the Information Systems lecturer on behalf of Gregorious Airlangga, S. Kom., M.T in the Journal Of Information Science & Engineering, March 2022, Vol.38 Issue 2, p295-316, with the title "Investigating Software Domain Impact in Requirements Quality Attributes Prediction”.

As trainers, lecturers are also actively involved in Kominfo Digital Talent Scholarship (DTS) activities. One of the Information Systems study program lecturers, Dr. Ir. Lukas, MAI, CISA, IPA, is one of the founders of the Indonesian Artificial Intelligence Society.
