ABOUT MASTER OF PSYCHOLOGY STUDY PROGRAM

Vision

To become a Master of Psychology Study Program with excellence in the development of psychology that is oriented to the issues of cultural interaction dynamics and social health in Indonesia and with a sense of care and respect to ethics in order to improve the well-being and welfare of the Indonesian people as part of the ever-changing global society.

Mission

To develop education in the field of psychology through a multidisciplinary approach that meets the demands of the globalization era while still taking into account the diversity of Indonesian society in national and regional contexts
To conduct basic and advanced research to develop psychology as a discipline in general, particularly in the areas of cultural encounters and social health, especially those relevant to the socio-cultural context of Indonesian society
To dedicate knowledge and skills to improving the quality and social-psychological well-being of Indonesia’s diverse society.

Objective

To produce graduates who are aware of and critical to the psycho-sociocultural phenomena and issues in organizations, communities, and society in Indonesia and who can provide solutions to such issues (professional accomplishment)
To produce graduates who can develop themselves both formally and informally as independent learners who engage in a never-ending learning process and who can master theories of psychology and other culture-related disciplines in order to solve the psycho-social issues in Indonesia (academic accomplishment)
To produce graduates who adhere to ethics, respect human dignity, acknowledge the diversity and equality in society, and demonstrate a sense of care, empathy, humility, honesty, responsibility, and professionalism in the tasks that they are assigned with (social accomplishment).
