WHY STUDY BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AT
UNIKA ATMA JAYA?

  • Business Administration Study Program of Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia is a program that offers the incorporation of both theoretical concepts and practical skills in understanding, managing, and developing business comprehensively. The program guides students to possess executive personality, intercultural understanding, global business knowledge. The program has also achieved an accreditation level of A from BAN-PT and is continuously committed to producing creative, critical and adaptive graduates.
  • The teaching methods adopted in Business Administration Study Program are centered on students, which is more popularly known as student-centered learning. The program carries out a variety of supporting learning activities to support the students’ learning process and enhance their practical skills and experience, such as company visits, industry visits and campus visits. The company visits are intended for students to observe actual business practices, as evident in the company visits to Google, Nestle, Adidas, Bogasari, Japfa, Yakult, Indomilk, Indolakto, ADB, and Sutherland Global Services; on the other hand, campus visits are conducted in partner universities, such as Nanyang Technological University, Malaya University, Songkhla University, NTU, Miriam College, UNDIP, and UNPAR. 
  • Business Administration Study Program has implemented the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program with an aim to help students to hone their skills, cultivate their independence, and widen their professional networking—all of which can help prepare them in the increasingly competitive workplaces. Some top programs offered include student exchange programs in domestic universities (members of APTIK) and foreign universities, industrial internship programs, and entrepreneurship programs that are supported by business incubators (AJIB).
  • The curriculum is designed in line with future challenges, preparing students to become more adaptive and competitive in the era of global competition. The Business Administration Study Program is also delivered by qualified academicians and professionals. Several top courses offered in this program include corporate governance, sustainability and corporate social responsibility, and cross-cultural understanding. 
  • The specialization majors in Business Administration Study Program are offered as follows:
    • Entrepreneurship and Innovation; This major produces graduates who are able to start a new business or develop an existing business.
    • Human Capital and Organization; This major produces graduates who are able to lead and manage human resources that can compete globally.
    • International Business; This major produces graduates who are able to manage business and possesses strategic skills at the international level.
