Overview
Kolej Universiti Poly-Tech MARA (KUPTM) Kuala Lumpur, now officially known as Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM), is a private higher education institution in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Originally established as Kolej Yayasan Pelajaran MARA and later rebranded as Kolej Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM), the Kuala Lumpur campus was upgraded to university college status in 2015 and subsequently recognized as a full university in 2022. It is managed by Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of the Malaysian development agency Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), and forms part of MARA’s network of educational institutions aimed at producing skilled graduates and professionals.
UPTM offers a range of academic pathways including foundation, diploma, bachelor’s, postgraduate, and professional programs across a variety of fields such as business, technology, education, communication, and computing.
