Overview

University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) is a private Catholic university located in Davao City, Philippines, founded in 1905 by the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM), making it one of the earliest Catholic educational institutions in the region. It began as a basic school and progressively expanded into a full university, being granted university status in 1992, and has since committed to Ignacian-Marian values and transformative education that integrates faith, excellence, and service.

UIC offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs across fields such as business, sciences, technology, education, health professions, music, arts, and humanities. It aims to produce globally competent and socially responsible graduates equipped for leadership and service, supported by strong accreditation, AUN-QA certification for selected programs, and opportunities for international collaboration and mobility.

Many of those programs have high accreditation levels and ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) certification in selective programs, enhancing academic quality and international relevance.
