Jakarta, April 29, 2025 – Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (AJCUI) and Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), Thailand, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance academic cooperation, research collaboration, and innovation exchange between the two institutions.
The virtual signing ceremony, held online simultaneously from Jakarta and Chiang Mai, marked an exciting milestone in strengthening regional academic ties. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. dr. Yuda Turana, Sp.S(K), Rector of Atma Jaya, and Assoc. Prof. Wichet Thipprasert, Acting President of RMUTL, and witnessed by senior representatives from both sides.
Through this agreement, AJCUI and RMUTL agreed to promote a wide range of activities, including the exchange of students and faculty members, joint research initiatives, the sharing of academic resources and publications, the hosting of joint conferences, and collaborative cultural programs. Both institutions emphasized the importance of building not just academic partnerships, but also a spirit of mutual friendship and long-term innovation.
This MoU will be valid for an initial period of three years and will automatically extend unless either party formally requests changes or termination. It also provides flexibility to develop further specific agreements for joint projects, offering a dynamic platform for both universities to innovate together across multiple disciplines.
The signing of this MoU reflects AJCUI’s ongoing commitment to expanding its global network and providing students and faculty with new opportunities for academic mobility, intercultural learning, and cutting-edge research collaboration. (RBA)
