Chemnitz University of Technology or commonly known as TU Chemnitz is a public research university located in Chemnitz, Saxony, Germany. It was originally founded in 1836 as a technical school and later transformed into a full university of technology, combining engineering sciences, natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences under one roof. Today it is recognized for its interdisciplinary academic offerings and research output, serving around 8,000–10,000 students with a substantial international community.

Application Period

The application period at Chemnitz University of Technology is divided into two semesters, winter and summer semesters. The application periods are:

Winter Semester:
