Overview
San Pedro College (SPC) is a private, Catholic, coeducational higher-education institution in Davao City, Philippines, founded in 1956 by the Dominican Sisters of the Trinity from Quebec, Canada. It began as a nursing school attached to San Pedro Hospital, the first Catholic hospital in Mindanao, and has been expanding into a full-fledged college offering programs in health sciences, education, business, arts and sciences, and allied health fields. The college maintains a mission to nurture holistically formed graduates equipped to serve community needs with compassion and competence.
SPC’s vision emphasizes becoming a leading autonomous Dominican learning community offering internationally recognized programs that produce graduates who serve both Filipinos and the global community. From its nursing heritage to its growing international initiatives, SPC continues to bridge local roots with global horizons, empowering students to turn knowledge into action and service that reaches beyond the classroom.
