11/24/2025 12:00:00 AM

Bangkok, 24–28 November 2025 — Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (AJCUI), through its Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), participated in the Passage to ASEAN (P2A) program in Bangkok, Thailand. The program involved 11 students, 2 lecturers, and 1 International Office staff member, and was designed to strengthen academic exchange, regional collaboration, and experiential learning within the ASEAN higher education network. Throughout the five-day program, participants engaged in a range of academic and institutional visits aimed at broadening perspectives on economics, business, and entrepreneurship in an international context. One of the key academic activities took place on 25 November 2025 at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), where students attended a lecturing session delivered by KMITL faculty members on economic and business topics. The visit also included a campus tour, allowing participants to gain insight into KMITL’s academic environment, facilities, and learning culture.

In addition to KMITL, the delegation also visited KRIRK University, further enriching the program through institutional dialogue and academic exchange. These visits provided valuable opportunities for students and lecturers to explore different approaches to business education, compare academic practices, and build connections with partner institutions in Thailand. Beyond university visits, the program incorporated discussions related to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), industry exposure, and cultural experiences in Bangkok. These activities helped participants connect academic knowledge with real-world business practices while gaining a deeper understanding of Thailand’s economic landscape and local context. Through this P2A program, FEB AJCUI students not only expanded their academic horizons but also strengthened cross-cultural awareness, communication skills, and regional networks. The Bangkok program reflects AJCUI’s ongoing commitment to preparing students to engage confidently in ASEAN-level collaboration and to contribute meaningfully in an increasingly interconnected economic environment.
