Overview

Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) is a major national research university in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province (Jeonbuk), South Korea, established in 1947 as part of the nation’s flagship and regional higher-education system. As one of the Flagship Korean National Universities, JBNU plays a central role in education, research, and community service in its home region and beyond. It enrolls around 20,000+ students across undergraduate and graduate programs and is recognized internationally, including ranking in the QS World University Rankings.

The academic year at Jeonbuk National University is divided into two semesters:

Spring Semester:
