Overview
The Institute of Business (IOB) or formally known as the East Timor Institute of Business is a private higher-education institution located in Dili, Timor-Leste, established on 20 August 2002 by the Klibur Mata Dalan ba Coopertiva Foundation. It focuses on delivering quality education in business, economics, computer technology, and related fields, serving as one of the largest private universities in the country with multiple campuses across the city. The institute is officially accredited by the National Commission for Academic Assessment and Accreditation in Timor-Leste.
IOB aims to produce professionals equipped with advanced knowledge and skills in economics, management, and ICT to meet national and international labour market demands. Over the years, it has developed a strong presence in higher education in Timor-Leste, contributing significantly to the public and private sectors with its graduates occupying key roles in government institutions, NGOs, banks, and businesses across the country.
