Jakarta, 19 August 2025 – Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (AJCUI) proudly welcomed more than 2,700 new students to the 2025/2026 academic year during the Student Life Journey—known as INI-SLJ 2025. Held from 17 to 19 August 2025 across our Semanggi, Pluit, and BSD campuses, this three-day welcome program is designed to help new students adapt smoothly to university life across six meaningful stages of introduction. The event featured a variety of purposefully curated activities—starting with the flag-raising ceremony in commemoration of Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day. Participants then delved into interactive sessions centered on national awareness, university values, spiritual life, group-building, career readiness, and critical social responsibility.

This three-day program helped freshmen adapt to campus life through a series of interactive activities, including national awareness sessions, spiritual and group-building exercises, career development simulations, and exhibitions showcasing campus organizations and services. Among the highlights was the International Office booth, where students learned about global programs and exchange opportunities. Rector Prof. Dr. dr. Yuda Turana, Sp.S(K) warmly welcomed the new students, encouraging them to embrace opportunities and grow as future leaders.
