Bintaro, June 17, 2025 – The 2024/2025 Darmasiswa program officially came to a close with a colorful and heartfelt farewell event, held at IP Trisakti, Bintaro, and hosted in collaboration with Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia and other partner institutions. The event, themed “Cultural Day for DRI Farewell,” brought together international students, faculty members, and organizers in a lively day of culinary and cultural exchange. The day began with traditional performances, including kolintang music and dance, followed by opening remarks and prayers. Participants then joined hands-on sessions in Indonesian pastry and culinary classes, learning to create dishes such as Putu Ayu, dadar gulung, ayam lengkuas, and sayur lodeh—celebrating the rich diversity of Indonesian flavors.
Culinary creations were later judged at Resto Arimbi, followed by a relaxing lunch and an afternoon filled with kolintang learning sessions and student performances from various universities, including UI, UNJ, and Atma Jaya. The atmosphere was festive, warm, and reflective of the friendships formed during the year. As the event drew to a close, awards were given for the best dishes, posters, and performances, and DRI certificates were presented to participants by each university. The celebration ended with group photos and heartfelt goodbyes—marking not just the end of a program, but the beginning of lifelong memories. (RBA)
