Founded in 1955 in Zhongli, Taoyuan City, Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) blends academic ambition with a values-driven educational philosophy. Established by Taiwanese and American Christian educators, the university was built on the belief that higher education should cultivate both professional competence and personal character. What began as an engineering-focused institution has since evolved into a comprehensive university offering programs across engineering, business, design, science, law, humanities, and education.
