Chang Gung University (CGU) is a private research-oriented university located in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, established in 1987 by the Chang Gung Medical Foundation, which is affiliated with the Formosa Plastics Group. The university was founded with a strong mission to advance education, research, and innovation, particularly in the fields of medicine, engineering, and management. The academic year at Chang Gung University is divided into two semesters:
