Atma Jaya Incubator Business (AJIB) in Thailand: A Fresh Start to Another Global Journey

Chiang Mai, 23-26 June, 2025 – Atma Jaya Incubator Business (AJIB) takes another milestone as they landed in Thailand for Community Problem-Solving Competition! The arrival of Indonesian Student delegates took place at Sunday, 22 June at Chiang Mai International Airport, wonders and excitement blooms as they stroll around the Tha Pae Walking Street, or most known as ‘The largest walking street’ in Thailand. The excitement went on: on Monday, they had a study visit at Mae Kampong Learning Center, exploring the local coffee roastery, and have a relaxing workshop activity of making Tea Leaf Pillow guided by the local instructor which experts at the handy crafts. The day ended with a magnificent note as they showcased the wonder with a Traditional Dance Performance.

Another day starts early with another Study Visit to Mue Li To Din Ngoen Community Enterprise (Pa To OTOP) where the students experience a fascinating knowledge on the history of Pa To OTOP, continued with Workshop Activity of ‘Handwoven Bag Making’, where the student participated the process of making crafts by their own hand. And at last, the students wrapped up their learning with working in group, in concern of community problem-solving plan development. Supplied by their involvement and understandings, the students offered their concerns, their problem-solving plans, and their hope for the plan they crafted and the outcome ahead. As the event comes to an end, the students took their memories with photos as their everlasting memories. The activity was ended with a timeless impression, and a mission to go for the better. (GIO)
