Jakarta, January, 2025 – Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (AJCUI) continues to strengthen its international collaborations through newly signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) in Canada and Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) in Korea. These agreements mark a significant milestone in AJCUI’s commitment to expanding global academic engagement, student exchange programs, and joint research initiatives. The MoU signing with UFV took place on January 14, 2025, at AJCUI’s Semanggi Campus, with David McGuire, Associate Vice President of UFV, representing the Canadian institution. This agreement will stand for five years and focus on student exchange, research collaboration, joint academic programs, and faculty mobility. UFV is the second Canadian university to partner with AJCUI, following McGill University. As a dynamic and innovative public university in British Columbia, Canada, UFV serves approximately 15,000 students annually across multiple campuses and is known for its commitment to small-class learning, hands-on educational experiences, and academic excellence.
These MoUs reflect AJCUI’s ongoing commitment to fostering international education, research collaborations, and cross-cultural academic exchanges. By partnering with UFV and JBNU, AJCUI continues to provide students and faculty members with broader opportunities for learning, professional development, and global engagement. The university looks forward to further strengthening these collaborations to create meaningful academic experiences for its community. (RBA)
