Overview

Jagiellonian University (also known as Uniwersytet Jagiellonski) is one of the oldest and most prestigious public universities in Europe, founded in 1364 and located in Kraków, Poland. It is the second oldest university in Central Europe and has grown into a large and internationally recognized institution, offering a wide range of academic disciplines across its 16 faculties, including humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, medicine, law, and economics, as well as strong research programs and international partnerships.

The academic year at Jagiellonian University is divided into two semesters:

Orientation for international students is conducted a week before each semester, covering essential topics such as course registration, cultural adaptation, and campus facilities.


Courses in English

Jagiellonian University offers a significant number of English-taught programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels, particularly appealing to international students. Among these are:
