Purpose of Project:
This project has the following purpose:
General purpose: To increase quality of democracy in Indonesia through strengthening control capacity of the Indonesian civil society and to foster democratic, accountable, transparent, and good governance attitudes of the newly elected government through active participation of civil society elements.

Specific purpoes:

• To educate participants that controling actively their goevernment is a basic right as well as critical role of civil soiety in a democratic life.
• To update participants knowledge concerning some key public policies and governance systems related to controling role.
• To train participants in monitoring and measuring programs/policies promised by legislative as well as president candidates during their campaigns, with particular attention on labor issues.

To meet these objectives, the project was divided into three steps. Those steps are

1. Literature study
2. Training
3. Monitoring and Evaluation.
