Participating in Hackathon 2024
was an incredible and eye-opening experience. The event brought together
passionate individuals committed to finding innovative solutions to address
real-world problems. It was inspiring to see how technology and creativity
could address pressing societal challenges. Being part of this hackathon
showed me the potential we have to make a difference through collaboration
and innovation, and it gave me a renewed sense of purpose. Winning first place with my
team was an unforgettable moment. Our success wasn’t just about the technical
achievement; rather, it was about creating a solution that could positively
impact people’s lives. Each member of our team brought unique skills and
perspectives, and together, we developed something meaningful that addressed
a real need. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of teamwork
and our ability to contribute to meaningful change. Hackathon 2024 taught me that
innovation can be a force for good. Beyond the technical and creative skills
I gained, I was reminded of the importance of empathy and understanding the
broader impact of our work. I’m incredibly proud to have been part of an
event that empowers participants to create solutions with social value. It’s
an experience that will continue to inspire me as I move forward in my
journey.

Joining the EcoGreen Hackathon was a completely new
and challenging experience for me. I was paired with teammates who were
familiar with the competition and had prior experience participating in
similar events. I entered the Hackathon without knowing what to expect and
came away with many valuable lessons. As a debater, I already had substantial
knowledge about sustainability and global efforts in this area. However,
through the Hackathon, I was able to witness the ideas I had debated and
discussed being transformed into real-life actions—actions that not only
support the sustainability goals the world is striving for but also empower
the individuals driving them. The EcoGreen Hackathon is not only an excellent
opportunity to learn about sustainability but also a fantastic platform to
network with like-minded people. I had the privilege of working with fun,
talented, and brilliant individuals throughout the event—an opportunity that
doesn’t come around often. Personally, I believe the networking aspect is
what made the Hackathon such a memorable experience for me. I highly recommend participating in Hackathon
competitions at least once to anyone who’s curious. As I mentioned earlier,
it’s not just a great learning experience—it’s also an incredible networking
platform. |

It was an incredible opportunity to experience the
Hackathon event. I really cherished the moments with new friends and
lecturers from various universities, as well as our friends from a Belgium
and Netherlands. I learned a lot about green entrepreneur in this event and
it’s interesting how all of the participants gather their perspectives on
sustainability and green entrepreneur in helping the SMEs to solve their
problems. I also learned how to pitch our ideas, brainstorm creatively, being
critical on our own ideas, analyze stakeholders and many more which will help
me in developing the society in the future. It is an honor to participate in
this wonderful event.

For me, by attending EcoGreen
Hackaton, I can enchance my knowledge with other students and unlock a new
thoughts through problems assigned in each group. With students on other
campus throughout Indonesia, Netherlands, and Belgium really an unforgettable
experience. Throughout the seminar we know their cultures and how they each
have their own way to solve a problem. This bootcamp focuses on
entrepreneurship and the sustainability of our surroundings. Creating unique
ways to solve situations and improving lives through small things by
contributing ideas to the community by planning certain ways and take action.
From this, I would like to thank you to all of the committee of this bootcamp
and all the friends throughout the bootcamp for making this an unforgettable
experience Best regards, David Franciscus |
