Biografi


Daru Seto Bagus Anugrah adalah dosen Prodi S1 Bioteknologi, Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya. Dia mendapatkan gelar sarjananya di Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang, Indonesia dan gelar masternya di Pukyong National University, Busan, Korea Selatan. Ia memiliki pengalaman di dunia industri sebagai chemist laboratory di PT Smaltochimica Asia (Zschimmer & Schwarz Asian) dan QC Executive Team Leader di PT Siegwerk Indonesia. Fokus penelitiannya adalah modifikasi dan pengembangan biomaterial. Penelitian-penelitian yang pernah dilakukan adalah nanoliposome dari fosfolipid biji wijen, nanomisel dari biopolymer sintesis, ultra-fast hydrogel, modifikasi grafen, pengembangan biosensor, dan pengembangan biokatalis untuk biodiesel. Selain melakukan penelitian secara wet lab, Daru juga melakukan penelitian yang dilakukan secara dry lab melalui analisis komputasi menggunakan mekanika kuantum (density functional theory) maupun mekanika klasik (molecular docking dan molecular dynamics). Penelitian Daru sangat interdisipliner, mencakup biofisika, kimia, biologi sel, biomekanik, materi lunak dan rekayasa makromolekul.
