Psychology graduates can pursue careers in various sectors, such as education, health, industry, and community with some prospective roles as follows:

  1. Facilitator: facilitating the optimal growth/development of individuals, groups or organizations through learning processes
  2. Analyst: conducting research-based analyses of issues comprehensively to solve social problems
  3. Assessor: becoming an assistant in psychological assessment of individuals, groups or organizations
  4. Intervention Designer: designing and implementing intervention programs as solutions to social issues.
ABOUT MASTER OF PSYCHOLOGY STUDY PROGRAM
Vision
To become a leading program in psychology education and its humanistic application in daily life, taking into account diversity and the demands of change at the national and global levels, and to achieve international recognition by 2027.
Mission
  • To develop education in the field of psychology that addresses the diverse needs of Indonesian and global societies and their ever-changing demands.
  • To conduct humanistic research in psychology that takes into account the diversity of social contexts and contributes to learning and community development.
  • To apply psychological skills in accordance with community needs by upholding the values of Christianity, Excellence, Compassion, and Professionalism.
Objectives
  • To master and apply concepts and theories of human behavior in their respective contexts, thereby enabling students to understand and explain social phenomena in diverse societies (Academic Achievement).
  • To be skilled in analyzing social issues, critically and objectively selecting holistic problem-solving approaches, and implementing them ethically to improve individual mental health (Professional Achievement).
  • Demonstrate behavior characterized by empathy, communication skills, initiative, honesty, compassion, perseverance, and responsibility (Social Achievement).
  • Be able to develop oneself as a lifelong independent learner through both formal and informal education (Academic Achievement).
