The formal education in Indonesia is not sufficient enough to give the stimulus for children’s intelligence improvement, because it only improves their abilities in certain things, example verbal, numeric, and general knowledge. It focuses on the left side brain, and it doesn’t stimulate the right brain. According to Gardner (1993), musical intelligence and spatial intelligence can improve the right brain and spatial abilities. The purpose of this research is to see whether there is any difference spatial ability between teenagers who follow classical music course and those who don’t follow. This is a non-experimental research. The sample of this research is 70 teen aged 11-15 years, divided into 2 group e.g 35 students of Tarakanita V Junior High School class 1-2, and 35 students of YPM Music School. The instrument used in this research is the spatial ability questionnaire that is based on Gardner theory. The data analysis is t-test parametric statistic technic. The result of this research shows that there is a difference between teenagers who follow the classical music course and who don`t with higher score in spatial ability in teenagers who follow classical music course. It can be concluded spatial ability can be improved in teenagers by following classical music course. Therefore, this classical music course can also improve the right brain. It is suggested to look at the gender differences also in the next research.
