Changwon National University Cooperation with Atma Jaya

Unika Atma Jaya was visited from the neighboring country, South Korea, exactly from Changwon National Univeristy. Two officials from Changwon National University, Mr. Choi Haebeom, Ph.D as the president and Mr. Jeong-Hoan-Soe, Ph.D as official from industry-university cooperation foundation. The visited was welcomed by Mrs. Elisabeth Rukmini, S.Si, M.Sc, Ph.D  as Vice Rector IV and also by faculty deans.

 

During the visit, Changwon stated to open chances with Atma Jaya for future collaborations and cooperations; one of them in a form of international seminars and guest lecturers programs. Besides holding a meeting with Atma Jaya officials, Mr. Choi Haebeom and Mr. Jeong-Hoan-Soe also visited two faculties in Atma Jaya, which were the Faculty of Economy and Faculty of Engineering.

 

In Faculty of Economy, the officials from Changwon National University were welcomed by the dean, Mr. Andre J. Ata Ujan, M.A., Ph.D along with the head of study program for accounting (represented by the secretary, Mrs. Theresia Dian Widyastuti, S.E., M.Ak.), head of study program for management, Mrs. Dr. Christiana Fara Dharmastuti, S.E., M.M., and head of study program for economy and development, Mr. Dr. Y. B. Suhartoko, S.E., M.E.

 

During the talks, the officials from both university gave ideas about potentials in future collaborations and cooperations, especially between the Faculty of Economy and Changwon National University. Changwon National University themselves are going to host an international seminar attended by more than 10 representatives from big countries. For that reason, Changwon National University wanted the Faculty of Economy to join the seminar. Besides, a lecturer from the Faculty of Bussiness and Economy, Mrs. Lina Salim had ever been invited to be a guest lecturer in Changwon National University.

 

Othe than the Faculty of Economy, Changwon National University officials also visited the Faculty of Engineering and were welcomed by Mr. Ronald Sukwadi, S.T., M.M., Ph.D. The officials visited and observed the laboratory of engineering in Atma Jaya.

 

It is highly hoped that the cooperation between the two universities can soon be done.
