International Webinar: Publication for Young Researcher: Myth, Reality & Experience

 

A collaboration between the School of Business Administration, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, and Universiti Sains Malaysia

 

 

Researchers publish their research work for many reasons such as a stipulation of their grant, career advancement, or for more personal reasons. However, the most important thing about research publication is sharing knowledge, where a researcher shares his or her research findings with the public either for the advancement of theory, generating new knowledge, an extension of literature, or improving current practices in certain fields of endeavor. Despite the many benefits of research publication, new researchers seeking to publish their articles may turn into a daunting task especially for those who are lacking experience of publishing. In this session, the speaker discusses the process of journal publication, the criteria used by reviewers in evaluating a manuscript, and the guidelines for writing a publishable research article. The session is targeted to new researchers with basic knowledge in research and publication.
