Jakarta, 3-12 August 2026 — AJCUI successfully organized the “Tri-City Cultural Program 2026,” a 10-day international cultural program, introducing participants to Indonesia’s diverse urban development, entrepreneurship, and cultural heritage. Through visits to three distinctive cities; Jakarta, Kudus, and Yogyakarta, participants gained firsthand insights into Indonesia’s dynamic development and cultural richness. The program began in Jakarta, where participants explored business and urban development, followed by Kudus, where they learned about entrepreneurship and local industry. The journey concluded in Yogyakarta, offering participants an opportunity to experience Indonesian culture and explore efforts in heritage conservation.
The program began with an opening and campus tour at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia’s Semanggi Campus, followed by an Indonesian Language 101 session designed to provide participants with basic language skills for their time in Indonesia. Participants then explored Jakarta’s business environment through discussions on entrepreneurship and ASEAN youth, as well as an introduction to prominent industries and companies in the city, including an exploration around the Bundaran HI area. The activities continued with a workshop on Indonesia, an Amazing Race and cultural exploration in Kota Tua, and a visit to the Museum Bank Mandiri, allowing participants to connect their academic learning with Jakarta’s historical and economic development. The Jakarta program concluded with a closing and buddies video session, certificate awarding ceremony, and cultural exchange before participants continued their journey to Kudus and Yogyakarta. (ARK)
