Jakarta, February 2026 – Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (AJCUI) is proud to participate in the Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) Scholarship Program, an international scholarship initiative supported by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to strengthen human resource development and educational cooperation with developing partner countries. Beginning on 2 February 2026, AJCUI welcomed its first cohort of scholarship recipients through the KNB program, which aims to provide educational opportunities for students from eligible countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and beyond. The KNB Scholarship is part of Indonesia’s broader commitment to international cooperation and South-South development, offering full support for students to pursue their studies in various academic fields at Indonesian universities.
The program recognizes the importance of education as a bridge for mutual understanding, equitable development, and strengthened partnerships among nations. As part of the KNB framework, AJCUI joined a select group of Indonesian institutions entrusted to host and nurture international scholars, providing academic mentorship, cultural immersion, and community engagement throughout their time on campus. For the scholarship recipients, arriving at AJCUI is more than just beginning a new academic chapter but it is also an opportunity to experience Indonesia’s rich cultural diversity, welcoming campus life, and commitment to shared values. The university community has welcomed students with orientation programs, peer support networks, and integration activities designed to make them feel at home and ready to thrive both academically and personally. As the 2026 KNB cohort begins its journey, AJCUI looks forward to celebrating academic achievements, cross-cultural friendships, and the lasting partnerships that grow from programs grounded in shared opportunity and mutual respect.
