Bandung, April 16-17 2026 – Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (AJCUI) took part in the P2A Indonesia Chapter Annual Meeting 2026, held at Telkom University, Bandung. Bringing together universities across Indonesia, the meeting served as a collaborative platform to strengthen student mobility programs and expand opportunities for international engagement within the ASEAN region. This year’s theme, “Strengthening Regional Mobility through Alignment, Reciprocity, and Sustainability,” highlighted the shared commitment among member institutions to build more impactful and inclusive exchange programs. Throughout the two-day event, participants engaged in keynote sessions, panel discussions, and workshops that explored the future direction of P2A programs. Discussions focused on aligning mobility initiatives with broader goals such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Indonesia’s Key Performance Indicators (IKU), while also encouraging more balanced and reciprocal exchanges among institutions. The sessions also emphasized the importance of innovation in mobility programs, including research collaborations, internships, and hybrid or virtual exchanges that can reach a wider group of students.
AJCUI’s participation reflects its continued commitment in providing students with meaningful international exposure. By being part of the P2A Indonesia Chapter, the university strengthens its network with partner institutions across ASEAN and opens more pathways for students and faculty to engage in cross-cultural learning experiences. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange best practices and explore new program ideas that can be implemented in the coming years, particularly for outbound and inbound mobility initiatives.
