Jakarta, 31 July 2026 — Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (AJCUI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Suryaqua Teknologi Indonesia to explore research and collaboration in renewable energy, particularly solar-powered water pump technology. The agreement was signed on July 31, 2026, at AJCUI’s Semanggi Campus by AJCUI Rector Prof. Dr. dr. Yuda Turana, Sp.S(K) and PT Suryaqua Teknologi Indonesia President Director Ardiyanto Indrakusuma.
Suryaqua is an Indonesian renewable energy company that focuses on solar-powered water pumping solutions. Its technology can be used for various needs, including agriculture, irrigation, clean water supply, and communities in areas with limited access to electricity. By using energy from the sun, these systems offer a more sustainable alternative to conventional water pumps that rely on electricity or fuel.
Through the new partnership, AJCUI and Suryaqua will explore research projects related to renewable energy and sustainability. Both sides hope that the collaboration can grow into further projects and provide opportunities for research and innovation in Indonesia. This partnership also supports AJCUI’s efforts to strengthen collaboration with external partners and develop research that can create a positive impact on society. (RBA)
