ABOUT THE FACULTY
The Faculty of Business Administration and Communication Studies (FIABIKOM) of Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia was founded on July 11, 1960, becoming one of the oldest faculties in this campus. Originally named Faculty of Societal Studies (FIPK), this faculty was then renamed into Faculty of Administration Studies in 1985. In 2019, the name of faculty was again changed into The Faculty of Business Administration and Communication Studies (FIABIKOM) in light of the addition of new study programs under the faculty.
This faculty has four study programs, namely Business Administration Study Program (S1), Communication Studies Study Program (S1), Hospitality Study Program (S1), and Master of Business Administration Study Program (S2). Since its establishment, Business Administration Study Program and Communication Studies Study Program have consistently achieved the highest accreditation level (A) from the Board of National Accreditation (BAN-PT), whereas the Hospitality ave been accredited with an accreditation level of ‘good’ (Baik). and Master of Business Administration Study Program have been accredited with an accreditation level of ‘excellent’ (Baik Sekali).
FIABIKOM has established an extensive networking with numerous international partners, which is evident from the many international programs that have been held in this faculty. Many students have got the opportunities to take part in student-exchange programs to other countries, and many international students have also studied in this faculty. Besides that, the full-time lecturers are mainly graduates from reputable local or foreign universities. They graduated from a total of 13 countries, offering students a diverse and comprehensive range of insights.
