Analysis of Corporate and Political Leadership During Crisis, Speaker: Prof Chris Kinsville-Heyne

This lecture will take a critical view of prominent corporate and political leaders and their respective leadership approach. After a brief overview various hard and soft skillsets, which led to their individual success/demise, we will delve into key crisis scenarios where leaders were faced with critical decisions in extremely time sensitive situations. Case studies will be used to explore how differing leadership management styles applied to the same event drew significantly varied outcomes. Furthermore,we will deep dive into the actual process of how, when and why these respective decisions were made, and what you as a leader can hope to achieve by learning some key “crisis leadership principles”. For these reasons, the Business Administration Department (ABI), Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia in collaboration with HULT Business School, are planning to organize an international seminar on this topic. Professor Chris Kinsville-Heyne, the speaker in this seminar, is an expert in the field of leadership from Hult Business School, who once was a spokesman for NATO and has a lot of experience doing business negotiations in conflicts areas field, such as the Middle East.
