"The Master of Professional Psychology Study Program was established to play its role in developing the nation, notably in producing professional human resources in the discipline of psychology to cater to the current needs and the rapid changes in the globalization era, without forgetting the uniqueness of the Indonesian culture."

Graduates of Master of Professional Psychology Study Program are expected to demonstrate several characteristics, some of which include faith in God, strong integrity, a sense of awareness and care to the environment, spirit to serve and willingness to keep learning.
Graduates of Master of Professional Psychology Study Program are:

1. General Psychologists with specialty in Clinical Psychology
2. Psychology of Industry and Organization (PIO)
3. Educational Psychology

ABOUT MASTER OF PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOLOGY STUDY PROGRAM

Vision

To be the reference for professional psychology education with a sense of care towards the cultural diversity of the Indonesian society as well as skills and ethical practice of psychology and to become a competitive program at both national and regional levels by 2027.

Mission

To develop professional psychology education that can meet the demands of the globalization era while still paying heed to diversity of the Indonesian society in both national and regional contexts
To conduct research in the development of psychology in general and psychology of Indonesian society in particular
To conduct community service for the purposes of scientific advancement or psychological service to the community, which is grounded on a sense of awareness and respect towards the values of the local community
To manage professional psychology professionally with utmost respect towards the values of human equality
To develop an international networking in the sectors of education, research and community service in a systematic and sustainable manner.

Objective

To produce graduates with a good mastery of psychological theories and their application in the socio-cultural contexts of individuals, groups, organizations, and community as per the Indonesian Psychology Code of Ethics
To produce graduates who can provide professional psychology practice based on scientific research and empirical evidence while not neglecting the socio-cultural norms that are in effect in the society
To produce graduates who can contribute to the development of psychology by conducting research in various aspects of human life, which can be published either nationally or internationally accredited journals
To produce graduates who are inculcated with values of Christianity, Competitiveness, Professionalism and Care
To publish scientific works and research that demonstrates a sense of care towards the ethics in psychology and the community that needs the application of psychology

To conduct community service programs that demonstrate a sense of care towards the ethics in psychology and the community that needs the application of psychology

To develop a good-quality master of professional psychology program, supported with credible, transparent, accountable, responsible and fair management

To develop human resources who care about the students’ needs, adapt well to the constantly changing needs of the community, and demonstrate professionalism in applying the knowledge in the area of pedagogy, research and community service.
