Biography
Siradj Okta, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., completed his Bachelor of Law at Unika Atma Jaya in 2006, followed by a Master of Law at Utrecht University in 2008, and a Doctorate at the University of Washington in 2020. He specializes in Criminal Law, Global Health Law, Human Rights Law, and International Criminal Law. As a lecturer, Siradj Okta teaches courses such as Legal English, Health Law, and Narcotics Law. He focuses on global health law, privacy, and public policy, with several publications that significantly contribute to legal discourse in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. His works include "Pandemic Treaty in Global Health Law Discourse," which discusses international agreements in response to pandemics, and "Digital Twin in Health Services: Balancing Public Interest and Privacy," exploring privacy challenges in the use of digital technology. He also analyzes legal trends resulting from COVID-19 in his publication "Numbers Don't Lie: COVID-19 Legal Trends in ASEAN" and proposes progressive digital policy recommendations in "Policy Paper: Accelerating National Economic Recovery." Education
Mr. Siradj Okta completed his Bachelor of Law at Unika Atma Jaya in 2006. He continued his Master of Law studies at Utrecht University in 2008, where he gained deeper insights into international law. He then earned his Doctorate at the University of Washington in 2020.
