sustainable knowledge relevant to their areas of study.
To achieve this objective, Unika Atma Jaya has established a partnership with MarkPlus Institute by offering a specially designed program for executives, Master of Management of Sustainability Marketing. (Learn more)
The executive class program of Master of Management
of Sustainability Marketing was officially launched in concert with the WOR
Brand Festive Day event, held in the Westin Hotel, Jakarta (11/05).
The Rector of Unika Atma Jaya Dr. Agustinus
Prasetyantoko, in his remarks after the launch of this program, zoomed in on
the important role of marketing in achieving SDGs, pinpointing the significant
influence of both entrepreneurial and sustainable perspectives in the future
ahead.
“Marketing should embrace the values of
entrepreneurial, notably sustainability. The issue of sustainability will
undeniably be of high importance in the future,” argued the Rector of Unika
Atma Jaya, Dr. Agustinus Prasetyantoko.
The perspective of sustainability has become the
main paradigm by which the curriculum at Unika Atma Jaya is designed, intended
to produce graduates who are ready to stand up to future challenges. Unika Atma
Jaya constantly works to ensure its graduates’ readiness to face the
increasingly complex global issues.
“By producing human resources who can cater to the current
needs with a focus on sustainability aspect, we have demonstrated our
responsibility for the sustainability of the human civilization and the
environment,” added the Rector of Unika Atma Jaya.
This collaboration was also endorsed by the Founder
and Chairman of MarkPlus, Hermawan Kartajaya. “MarkPlus is committed to
supporting the education sector through its MarkPlus Institute. Now, MarkPlus
has collaborated with many other universities, and this time, with Unika Atma
Jaya, we are offering the Master of Management of Sustainability Marketing,” he
stated.
This executive class is intended to provide
opportunities to those interested in pursuing their Master Education (S2),
notably those with an interest in Sustainability Marketing. The learning activities
in this class executive have been professionally designed by Faculty of
Economics and Business (FEB) of Unika Atma Jaya in collaboration with the
marketing specialist in Indonesia, that is, MarkPlus Indonesia.
By promoting the discussion of strategies and
tactics in marketing business management in light of the sustainability
approach, it is hoped that this program can nurture talented graduates from
Unika Atma Jaya who can design business strategies, comprehend the practice of
sustainable business management, master practical marketing strategies, build
up sustainable market competitiveness and contribute well to the community.
