Hippocratic's Oath Period III 2023

October 25, 2023 – seventy-eight new doctors who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences were sworn in at a Hippocratic's Oath ceremony with the theme "Ad meliora et ad maiora," meaning "Towards better and bigger things". This theme was raised with the intention of prayer and motivation considering that their journey does not stop here, but this is the beginning of their real journey as doctors. They are struggling towards the best version of their lives, both in terms of education and work, in order to realize bigger dreams in the future.

The Hippocratic’s Oath led by the dean of FKIK UAJ, Dr. Dr. Felicia Kurniawan, M.Kes., accompanied by DR. Dr. Ign Rika Haryono, Sp.KO as Deputy of Dean, DR. dr.Poppy K. Sasmita, Sp.S., M. Kes as Head of the Medical Professional Study Program, and dr. Ecie Budiyanti, M. Biomed, also Head of the Undergraduate Medical Studies Program, and dr. Irene Stephanie, M.M., Sp.B as Secretary of the Medical Professional Study Program. Also witnessed by all invited guests starting from the Leadership and Lecturer of FKIK Unika Atma Jaya, Chair of the Atma Jaya Foundation, Chancellor of Atma Jaya Catholic University, Chair and Lecturer from Atma Jaya teaching and research hospital and educational network hospitals, Chair of IDI North Jakarta Branch, Chair of PELATARAN Atma Jaya, Clergy, as well as all parents of new doctors.

FKIK Unika Atma Jaya does not fail to produce students who excel in both academic and non-academic fields. Awards for three categories of outstanding students in this period were given to dr. Steven Alvianto who got the highest GPA, and dr. Chrestella Ivena Rustjo as the winner of the highest National CBT and OSCE scores.

This struggle is still very long, hopefully the New Doctors will continue to try and work to provide the best service for God and the Motherland. Congratulations and Success for the New Doctors.
