HIPPOCRATIC'S OATH PERIOD 1 YEAR 2023

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Atma Jaya Catholic University Jakarta held the Hippocratic’s Oath Period 1 of 2023 on February 1, 2023. This event occurred at the Yustinus Building Auditorium, 15th Floor, Semanggi Campus. On this occasion, all New Doctors and their parents attended onsite, while still following the applicable health protocols.

The Hippocratic’s Oath led by Dr.dr. Felicia Kurniawan M.Kes as Dean of FKIK UAJ accompanied by DR. dr. Ign Rika Haryono, Sp.KO as Deputy of Dean, DR. dr. Poppy K. Sasmita, Sp.S., M.Kes as Head of the Medical Profession Study Program, and dr. Ecie Budiyanti, M. Biomed and Head of the Bachelor of Medicine Study Program.

Also attending this activity onsite Dr. Yohanes Eko Adi Prasetyanto, S.Si as Deputy Chancellor for Research and Cooperation on behalf of the Chancellor of Atma Jaya Catholic University, dr. Yudy, Sp.FM has always been the Head of ELEK FKIK UAJ, and dr. Risa Anwar representing the Head of North Jarata Branch of Indonesian Doctor Association.

The theme adopted by 56 new Doctors this time is “Reminiscentiam Ad Somnium,” meaning “Reminiscence towards a new dream.” This theme was raised based on their journey, which was not easy, starting from the beginning of their undergraduate medical education to completing their clinical clerkship education.

All the experiences, hard work, and effort they went through will become memories that motivate them to keep moving toward realizing even bigger dreams in the future. Through this foundation, they want to become doctors who can provide the best service in contributing to the welfare of the Indonesian people. 

On this occasion, FKIK UAJ awarded new doctors with achievements to dr. Karina Gani  with the highest GPA winner, and dr. Theressa Kristiayu with the highest CBT and OSCE UKMPPD scores for the November 2023 period.

The struggle is still long waiting for them out there as doctors. Congratulations on your work for the Nation and the Beloved Motherland Indonesia. To the 56 New Doctors, may God always bless and protect you.
