Scholar Talk is an annual event held by the Scholarship Office. This year, Scholar Talk 2023 featured a talk show with the theme “Step Up Your Career by Improving Your Hidden Potential”, which was held offline in Campus III Unika Atma Jaya, BSD, on Saturday, October 21 2023. This event was also part of the fund-raising efforts, supported by the materials presented by Vina Mulia as the speaker. The fund raised in this event will be allocated to supporting the education of the younger generation, particularly the student grantees at Unika Atma Jaya, so that they can pursue a better education and develop their future career. The whole event was guided by the moderator, Emilia Fransiska Meilina.

 

The event received positive reactions from the attendees, as evident in the numerous questions asked by the attendees about the procedures and tips of how to apply to companies, what companies look for in CVs, and many other things, as well as their great enthusiasm when asking questions, engaging in discussions, and sharing their experience with the speaker. With this talk show, all the attendees can get a better picture of the careers they would like to pursue in the future. Not only that, Scholar Talk 2022 can also provide a golden opportunity for anyone, both attendees and non-attendees, to show their care by donating to help support and open the access to higher education to all the young generation of Indonesia, one of which is through the Unika Atma Jaya Scholarship Office. The fund collected through this event amounted to Rp22.779.500,- (twenty-two million seven hundred seventy-nine thousand five hundred rupiah) and will be allocated to Unika Atma Jaya students who face financial difficulties and excel in their academic performance.
