Release of Retired Employees of Unika Atma Jaya, Appreciation for Service and Dedication




Jakarta, 31 August 2023 – The Bureau of Human Resources (BSDM) of Universitas Katolik Indonesia (Unika) Atma Jaya, released 16 employees who had retired on Thursday (31/08). The Head of the Human Resources Bureau, Beni Wido Hendratmo, together with the Rector of Unika Atma Jaya and the Director of Operations, expressed their appreciation at the release ceremony.

Retirement is a new chapter in life that must be welcomed with new enthusiasm. Raising the optimistic spirit of retired employees, Rector of Unika Atma Jaya, Dr. Agustinus Prasetyantoko  expressed his gratitude and congratulations to all retired employees for their dedication in carrying out their duties. A total of 11 retired employees attended the release event, while 5 other retired employees were unable to attend due to circumstance.

"Thank you for your service and dedication so far, this souvenir is a form of our appreciation to retired employees who have served for decades at Unika Atma Jaya," said Rector of Unika Atma Jaya, Dr. Agustinus Prasetyantoko.



"This is the first time we have held a retirement event for retired employees. Through this event we hope that Unika Atma Jaya's retired employees will always be protected by God and continue to maintain the bond of brotherhood," concluded Rector of Unika Atma Jaya, Dr. Agustinus Prasetyantoko.

In addition to giving souvenirs, the event also provided sharing session from Jumeno, a retired employee who retired in 2013. On this occasion, Jumeno shared his experiences during his retirement in navigating old age and managing pension funds.

Unika Atma Jaya is committed to maintaining the welfare of retired employees through a pension fund program. The program is expected to provide retirement benefits for the sustainability of retired employees.
