Inauguration of the Liaison Board (BPH)

05/20/2019 00:00:00

The presence of the Liaison Board of Scholarship Office serves as a bridge of communication between the Unika Atma Jaya (UAJ) Scholarship Office and the students who receive scholarship, with the number reaching more than 400 grantees. The Liaison Board of the UAJ Scholarship Office was inaugurated on May 17, 2019 with its tenure from 2019 to 2020. The number of members inaugurated was 43 people, divided into three divisions, namely Programming Division, Alumni Division, and Sponsorship Division. The members of this Liaison Board also consist of students from the three UAJ campuses, namely Semanggi, BSD, and Pluit, which will become the bridge of communication between the Scholarship Office and the student grantees. The inauguration event was marked with the handover of duties from the previous Head of Liaison Board to the newly elected Head of the Liaison Board.

The event resumed the next day on May 18 2019, when the newly inaugurated Executive Board held a Work Program Meeting in Bogor Botanical Gardens. On mats on the ground with dense trees as the covering above, the Board designed the events that would be held in the next one tenure. In this Work Program Meeting, the Board discussed the structures of the committee for each event and the overall outlook of the events, which would be finalized once the committee had been formed. Besides that, the work program meeting, which was held outside the campus, was hoped to strengthen the bond between one member with another, fostering a better cooperation and collaboration between them.

In the event on that day, the participants were also involved in many collaborative games to enliven the atmosphere, with the event finally concluding with a luncheon. It was hoped that this event can give a memorable experience to all the members of the Scholarship Office, which could eventually support the work performance over the next one year, achieving the targets of the prescribed work programs.
