MAFIA RUN 2023, A GRAND REUNION EVENT FOR ALUMNI OF THE FACULTY OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND COMMUNICATION SCIENCE (FIABIKOM) ATMA JAYA CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY

Jakarta, 12 March 2023 - Coinciding with Car Free Day or commonly known as CFD, Alumni of the Faculty of Business Administration and Communication Sciences (FIABIKOM) Atma Jaya Catholic University (Unika Atma Jaya) held another Mafia Run on Sunday (12/3) as an annual routine as well as a reunion event.
Mafia Run itself started from the idea of the alumni of FIABIKOM (formerly FIA) which began to be held for the first time in 2017 with the aim of being able to reunite alumni who have been spread in various industry.
Dozens of alumni, ranging from 1976 to 2019, gathered at Campus I Semanggi eagerly welcoming this once-a-year event. The reunion was opened by remarks from the Chairman of Atma Jaya Foundation, Linus M. Setiadi, and Dean of FIABIKOM, Dr Eko Widodo.
The Mafia Run flag off was held in front of the Semanggi Campus accompanied by the smiling faces of the participants consisting of alumni and families. The route that needed to be travelled by the participants to run was Unika Atma Jaya Campus, Senayan Roundabout, and back to campus through the Bendungan Hilir Pedestrian Bridge (JPO). After that the event was also enlivened by live music and dance performances which further increased the excitement of the alumni who attended.
With this FIABIKOM 2023 Grand Reunion, it is hoped that good kinship relations will continue to exist between each other in the same alma mater despite differences in graduation years, and open up opportunities for cooperation through the network owned by Atma Jaya Catholic University alumni.
