Jakarta, April 3 2023 - Indonesia has established cooperations with
various countries in a bid to improve the education sector and provide the
younger generation the opportunities to take part in programs that allow them
to become global citizens, exposing them to the international world and
strengthening their networking and skills. One of such countries is France.
On Monday (3/4), the delegates from Le Havre Normandy University, led by
Prof. Thierry Tabbelion as the Deputy Director of International Affairs of
Institut Universitaire de Technology who was accompanied by Karine Delforge and
Helene Le Roux, visited Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia to further
discuss the partnerships that have been established for approximately 3 years.
This event was followed by the Cultural Seminar held in Yustinus Building 14th
Floor, Unika Atma Jaya, which was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of
Business Administration and Communication Studies (FIABIKOM) of Unika Atma
Jaya, Dr. Eko Widodo.
“It is an honour for Unika Atma Jaya to be able to partner with Institut Universitaire de Technology, one of the reputable universities in France,” suggested
Eko Widodo in his remarks.
Furthermore,
he hoped that students can garner more experience, learn both the culture and
academic life and expand their networking, all of which will benefit their
future, notably through the student exchange programs as the core of this
partnership.
The Head of
the Communication Studies Study Program of FIABIKOM, Prof. Dr. Dorien
Kartikawangi, also expressed her gratitude for the mutual partnership. “We are
