Evandinata Halim, M.Hum.

Eavndinata Halim, also known as “Evand Halim” is a professional sworn translator and a certified interpreter in the Republic of Indonesia. He has been teaching Translation in the Master's Program at the Applied English Linguistics Department of Atma Jaya Catholic University since 2010. In addition, Evand also teaches legal translation, legal drafting, and English for Law courses at Atma Jaya Language Learning Center and has been a speaker and trainer in the same professional skills at various educational institutions, government agencies, as well as prominent law firms and companies in Indonesia.  Evand has served on the Board of Examiners for the Sworn Translators’ Qualifying Exam in Indonesia for over a decade. His passionate interest in translation and the legal language has made him a leading authority on legal translation and legal English in Indonesia.
