Collaboration with BCA, Unika Atma Jaya Conducts Company Visit to BCA Learning Institute

Jakarta, 13 July 2023 – Universitas Katolik Indonesia (Unika) Atma Jaya as one of the leading universities in Indonesia, has had various cooperation programmes in the field of education with PT Bank Central Asia Tbk or commonly known as BCA.

One example is BCA Blue Ticket: Campus Hiring & Company Visit. Located at the BCA Learning Institute, Sentul, the visit which was held on Wednesday (05/07) opened up opportunities for final year students of Unika Atma Jaya to have a career at BCA.

The event, which was attended by approximately 75 people, began with an experience sharing session from one of the Assistant Credit Analyst (Corporate) staff, Antonia Jessica, who is also an alumnus of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Unika Atma Jaya.

Having worked at BCA for 3 years, she shared her experience of being part of several different teams. She shared the importance of adaptability and learning habits in the working world.

After the sharing session by the alumni, it was followed by a session with representatives from BCA's Human Capital Management (HCM) who raised the value of Friendly Environment and Continuous Improvement, in line with the characteristics of Gen Z today. The material is very relevant and needed for students to prepare themselves to enter the world of work.

At the end of the session, BCA HCM representatives also presented various job vacancies and educational programmes that are open to the public for final year students and fresh graduates. BCA also provided the opportunity to apply for several available positions that were specifically given only to participants who attended the BCA Blue Ticket programme on that day.

After the sharing session, the activity continued with a tour around the BCA Learning Institute (BLI) building to introduce the history and facilities at BLI to support the learning of prospective employees.

With this collaboration in the form of Company Visit and Campus Hiring, it is hoped that the collaboration between Unika Atma Jaya and BCA will continue.

The quality of students graduating from Unika Atma Jaya has been trusted for a long time. Hopefully, through the BCA Blue Ticket programme, more Unika Atma Jaya graduates will be interested and able to join BCA to help advance human resources in Indonesian society.
