The Scholarship Office of Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia successfully held Atma Jaya Alumni Appreciation Awards 2023. This event of gala dinner was held on November 4 2023 in Campus III BSD Unika Atma Jaya, involving all former Unika Atma Jaya scholarship grantees and featuring the theme Appreciation and Collaboration of Atma Jaya Scholarship Alumni. It is hoped that the alumni can consistently achieve greater things and collaborate to contribute to the community around them. A fund-raising activity was also conducted, with the collected fund to be donated to those needing scholarship. AJAAA 2023 featured an award ceremony for those former grantees with wonderful achievements and meaningful contributions that they made throughout their time as grantees at Unika Atma Jaya. There were seven categories of awards, each of which was objectively assessed by the board of juries.

 

During the event, all the former scholarship grantees of Unika Atma Jaya enjoyed all the series of shows presented. The event per se was also part of the fund-raising effort in the form of painting auction. The total donation collected amounted to Rp 76.338.888,- (seventy-six million three hundred thirty-eight thousand eight hundred eighty-eight rupiah), which will be given to the Scholarship Office and distributed to the students in need so that they can continue their education through the scholarship program. Despite their busy schedules and activities upon graduation, the former scholarship grantees of Unika Atma Jaya were excited to be present in the event, and it is hoped that this will enliven and rebuild the interaction and the networking among the alumni, leading to cordial relationship and possible collaboration in the future.
