Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN) consist of mesh routers and mesh clients where mesh routers have minimum mobility and forming backbone from WMNs. The example of mesh clients are Laptops, Dekstops, PDAs, PocketPCs, phones that connecting directly to wireless mesh router. Function of gateway in mesh router can make nodes interconnecting with other network nodes outside of mesh network such as Internet. Thus, from an end node to another, both wireless and wired links may exist, which requires enhanced TCP in WMNs to support its connection. There is no transport protocol have been developed specifically for WMNs to date, although several transport protocol have been developed for both wired and wireless networks in the last decade. So, in this paper, the author would like to test of TCP Reno protocol performance which the performance indicators that used in this paper are throughput and end to end delay and using network simulator of NS-2 to simulate TCP Reno behavior over WMNs with using WMNs hybrid configuration. The result of this simulation is indicate that increasing the number of connection would be decrease throughput and increase end-to-end delay; increasing the mobility could be increase or decrease throughput and end-to-end delay depend on destination node movement.
