One of disadvantages in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) communication system, is high value of Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR). PAPR is a comparison between peak signal and average signal.If this value is too high then it will make radio frequency power amplifier will be in non-linier region of power amplifier so the signal will be distorted. Therefore, the PAPR value must be reduced.. This research uses Genetic Algorithm to reduce the PAPR value. .Genetic Algorithm is a searching algorithm to get the best solution which is use to get the best subcarriers phase’s that has the lowest PAPR value.
