Code Division Multiple Access User Identification using Genetic Algorithm

Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) uses only one carrier frequency so that the receiver will get the superposition from all user’s signal. In order to extract the expexted signal from receiving signal, genetic algorithm is used for multiuser detection. Genetic Algorithm is a searching algorithm to get the best solution which is use to get the optimum value from the generate data. The simulation results show that the increasing population, the number of generations to determine the bits in the receiver is decreasing, and the more users then the number of generations to determine whether the bit value received from each user is the same as the transmitted bit increases, the increasing number of generations happens in non linear. This simulation using Matlab 7.1.
