Prof. Gilles explained that people with epilepsy does not always have a seizure, but there is also a type of epilepsy that causes a person immobilized and unresponsive called absence epilepsy. The explanation continues with the factors that cause epilepsy, the effects of epilepsy, the parts of the brain that affected by epilepsy, and the way in which epilepsy being treated. The topic of the second workshop is psychiatric disorder and focuses on three disorders, namely schizophrenia, mood disorders, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In each of the disturbances, Prof. Gilles describes the symptoms of each of the disorders, risk factors, genetic models, neurotransmitters that is activated in each disorder, the influence of the disorder to the brain, and the treatment process of each disorder.

The participants seemed enthusiastic in attending the workshop, even they needed more than 2,5 hours for the workshop particularly when discussing about psychiatric disorders. The event that cooperated with Erasmus + was closed by Dr. Angela Oktavia Suryani, M.Si as the Dean of Faculty of Psychology Unika Atma Jaya.
