Friday Coffee Break: What is Green Energy & How Can We Switch to It

November 17, 2018, Marketing Bureau, Public Relations and Admission held "Friday Coffee Break: What Is Green Energy & How Can We Switch to It?". Atma Jaya University cooperated with the German Embassy for Indonesia and several German Institutions in Indonesia. The green energy technology exhibition was held at the KW Campus 1 Semanggi Hall since October 29, 2018 - November 10, 2018.

 

This was part of the collaboration with Germany which began in August, at which time Atma Jaya signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the German Embassy. The aim was to facilitate cross-cultural, social and educational activities between Atma Jaya Catholic University and Germany.

 

"In Indonesia the first transitional energy exhibition which was visited was only in Jakarta and Surabaya. Atma Jaya offers itself as a place for exhibitions and accepts the offer from us, "said Elisabeth Rukmini, Ph. D.

Atma Jaya University got the opportunity from the German embassy to hold a public discussion on the theme: What is Green Energy & How Can We Switch to It? ". This seminar conveyed the results of German government research on renewable technology (green energy), the cooperation between the governments of Indonesia and Germany related to renewable technology spread across more than 600 villages in Indonesia and research scholarship programs. With speakers from GIZ and DAAD namely Christian Rabi, Johannes Uhldan and Frank.
